Adopt a Domestic Short Hair / Mixed

Domestic Short Hair / Mixed Cat

Bob the Cat needs a home

Bob resides at his foster mom's home with his brother, Bill. Please e-mail [email protected] for an application, more information or to set up an appointment to meet Bob and Bill.

Bill and Bob have been with Shelter to Home for over over 3 years. The boys love their food, and will need to go to a home where their food will be strictly measured so they can lose weight. Bob and Bill do not use a litterbox and prefer going on a puppy pee pad. This is no problem at all in his foster home and should be easy enough to transition to a new home.

Bill and Bob are both fairly vocal. When we go to bed, Bill will howl for a minute or two but then he's quiet all night. Bob has a tendency to show up as soon as my alarm goes off and prevent me from hitting the snooze. Bob is a plastic chewer and cannot be trusted around plastic grocery bags or similar items. He has even chewed on the pee pads a few times. He has had issues with vomiting and an ultrasound revealed he has some type of bowel disease. He has been on steroids and is doing fine. He has not had any issues of vomiting since going on medication. He takes the pills quite easily. I also have both of the boys on a high fiber prescription diet that is working quite well.

Bill and Bob are 10 years old very bonded to each other so I am insisting they be adopted together. Both of them are very sweet and playful. Bill is the lap cat and will curl up on you for hours while you watch a movie. They both eat well and will do dry or canned foods. They should go to a new home where the owner will make sure to keep an eye on their weight. Bob is ok, but Bill needs a serious diet plan.

Both of them are 4 paw declawed, neutered, and up to date on vaccines. They both had dental cleanings and pre-surgery bloodwork in January of 2015. Our normal adoption fee is $100 per cat, but a generous donor has sponsored 1 fee for the boys. If you are interested in adopting my big orange boys, please email me at [email protected] for an application.
